Vella Community Guidelines
Faith Feed exists for prayer, Scripture, testimony, and honest encouragement. Faith Feed and Vella groups are only for people who are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where they live if that age is higher. These standards explain what belongs in the community and what does not.

1. Lead with dignity
Treat every person as worthy of respect, including when beliefs, traditions, or experiences differ. Challenge ideas without attacking people.
- No harassment, bullying, humiliation, or coordinated abuse
- No hate or dehumanization based on identity
- No threats, glorification of violence, or encouragement of self-harm
- No sexual exploitation or explicit abusive content
2. Keep it centered on faith
Post content meaningfully connected to Christian faith, Scripture, prayer, testimony, questions, or encouragement.
- No spam, scams, engagement manipulation, or repetitive promotion
- No selling or fundraising without explicit authorization
- No impersonation or knowingly deceptive claims
- Credit words and images that are not yours
3. Protect privacy and vulnerable people
Public posts can travel beyond their original audience. Share carefully and never expose another person’s private story without permission.
- Do not publish addresses, private contact details, financial information, or confidential records
- Do not share identifying details about children without lawful permission
- Do not pressure anyone to disclose trauma, health conditions, or private confessions
- For immediate danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on the feed
4. Moderation and enforcement
Vella uses automated checks and user reports to identify possible violations. Content may be limited or removed, and accounts may receive warnings, feature restrictions, suspension, or termination depending on severity and history.
Context matters, including educational, documentary, or support-seeking intent, but context does not excuse harm. You can report a post and block an account directly in Vella. Misusing reporting tools to target others is itself a violation.
5. A shared responsibility
Moderation cannot replace wise participation. Pause before posting, correct mistakes openly, and choose words that make room for truth and grace. For guideline questions, contact support@vella.one.
