Delete your Vella account

You can request permanent account deletion in the app. If you no longer have access, email support@vella.one from the address linked to your account. A store subscription must be canceled separately through Apple or Google.

Vella is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority where they live if that age is higher.

Open Vella and go to Profile or Settings.
Choose Delete account and confirm the information shown.
Separately cancel any active subscription in your Apple or Google account.
If you cannot sign in, contact support@vella.one so we can verify ownership.

Delete specific data without deleting your account

You can remove supported content directly in Vella while keeping your account:

In Faith Feed, open the menu on your own post and choose Delete. This also removes that post’s attached images and comments.
Open the menu on your own Faith Feed comment and choose Delete.
On a saved verse, tap the filled heart again to remove it from favorites.
For another specific personal-data deletion request, email privacy@vella.one from your account address and describe the data you want removed.

We normally answer support requests within a few business days. Limited billing, transaction, fraud-prevention, security, and backup records may be retained where required or permitted by law.
